Obituary Condolences

Elizabeth Alice Brennan of Scituate, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the age of 80. Alice was the loving wife of 58 years to Edward. Alice was a well-known real estate broker for 30 years with Jack Conway Realtor and 16-year owner of Christophers Irish Gifts and Religious Goods, a store established in memory of her late son, Christopher Joseph Brennan. She was an active volunteer with St. Mary of the Nativity Church, serving with the Alter Society and as a eucharist minister. She was the devoted mother of John E., Deborah, Edward C and his wife Lisa E. all of Scituate and the late Christopher J.; proud grandmother of Kristen, Kevin, Robert, Aubrey Elizabeth, Tasia; and great-grandmother of Brooke Madelyn. Funeral was held from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, Friday, May 24, at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St., Scituate, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours were held from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday, May 23.
