Helen I. Statham

Helen I. (Gachewicz) Statham, 95, of Sharon, April 1, peacefully at her home at age 95. Beloved wife of the late William E. Statham. Born in Philadelphia PA, she was raised and educated in Canton, attending St. Johns School graduating the Class of 1935, after High School she was employed at Plymouth Rubber in Canton where she met her Husband, they married in 1935, where they made their home in Sharon ever since. A parishioner of St. Johns the Evangelist Church in Canton, and Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Sharon where she a Member of the womens club. Her devotion was to her family, children and grandchildren along with her faith Loving mother of William B. Statham of Sharon and Patricia M. Rombouts, and her husband Jozef of Linden, Belgium. Grandmother of Kenneth Rombouts of Savannah, GA and Leslie Lurqin-Rombouts of Korbeek-lo, Belgium. Predeceased by her sister Mary Olds and stepbrother Charlie. Visitation was on Friday, April 5, from 9:45 -10:45 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 59 Cottage St., Sharon, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
