Miriam Sokoloff

Miriam Sokoloff, a long time Sharon resident died on Thursday, November 14, 2013. She was 91 years old. Born in Worcester she was the daughter of the late Menachem & Emma (Rudashevsky) Shapiro. Mrs. Sokoloff worked as a Nursing Supervisor at the former Recuperative Center in Roslindale. She was a long time active member of Temple Israel of Sharon and of Hadassah. She was the beloved wife of the late Hyman R. Sokoloff. She is survivied by her children, Yitzhak (Eric) Sokoloff & his wife Ruti of Efrat, Israel, Dr. Shoshana Sokoloff & her husband Jeffrey Rubin of Amherst and Cantor Alan Sokoloff & his wife Erica of Mamaroneck, NY. She was the grandmother of Chai, Ori, Yuval, Avigail, Einat, Emma, Hannah, Esther, Arielle and Ranan and great-grandmother of Roni, Yonatan, Adva and David. Sister of the late Nathan and Jeanette. Services under the direction of Schlossberg-Solomon Memorial Chapel were held on November 15 at Temple Israel of Sharon officiated by Rabbi Barry Starr and Cantor Steven Dress.
