Virginia L. Larason

Virginia L. Larason, born, April 5, 1925, a Sharon, MA resident from 1958 to 1980 on the farm that is now Larason Farm Road. Member of St. John's Episcopal Church. Also weekly congregant of First Baptist where her husband was member. Involved in youth and women's groups in both churches. Very involved in citizen's committees addressing reforms in Sharon's public school system in the late 1960's and early 1970's. Avid gardener and churchgoer. Predeceased by her husband Jerome W. Larason, Sr. (died 1997). Survived by her sons- Robert A. Hancock, wife Patricia Rutledge; Mark Hancock, wife Doreen Hancock; Jon Larason, partner Shelley Otis. Stepchildren- Christine Becker, husband Carl Becker; Jerome W. Larason, Jr., wife Rebecca Larason. Grandchildren- Andrew Hancock, wife Dawn Rogala; Sarah Goldin, husband Edward Goldin; Jessica Musselman, husband Dan Musselman; Robert Hancock, wife Sandi Strauss; Karen Cotti, husband Christopher Cotti. Stepgrandchildren- Jennifer Milham-Becker, Jacob Becker, Jerome W. Larason III, Amanda Larason. Greatgrandchildren- Brooke Goldin, Harrison Goldin, Emerson Hancock. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church on the Canal in Buzzard's Bay (Bourne), Massachusetts this coming Saturday, April 6th at 3 PM.
