Obituary Condolences

Marilyn E. (Wiegand) King, 77, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital Thursday, April 11. She was the wife of Patrick B. Bernie King. Daughter of the late William J. Wiegand Jr. and Mary E. (Howe) Wiegand, she was born and raised in Dorchester and graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School, Class of 1953. Mrs. King was a resident of Stoughton since 1965. She was a homemaker. In her free time she loved to travel with her family. In addition to her husband, Mrs. King is survived by her children, Stephen P. King and his wife Brenda of Florida, Brian W. King of Middleboro, Patricia E. Carter and her husband David and Diane M. Kimball and her husband Scott, all of Stoughton. She was the sister of Mary Claire Wiegand and Sr. Eleanor Wiegand, CSJ, both of Framingham, Joan E. Gallagher and Virginia M. Fontana both of Middleboro and the late William J. Wiegand III. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was held at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton, April 15, at 9 a.m. Visiting hours were Sunday from 2-6 p.m. in Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Marilyns memory may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph, 637 Cambridge St., Brighton, MA 02135. See obituary at www.farleyfh.com.
