Marilyn E. (Mason) Littlefield, passed away at the age of 87 years on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in The Copley At Stoughton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late George E. Littlefield. She is survived by her daughters Martha A. MacNevin and her husband Paul of Stoughton, Sandra K. McGloin and her husband Roger of The Villages, FL, her son James A. Littlefield and his late wife Denise of Royal Palm Beach, FL, her brother Philbrook Mason of Middleborough, her granddaughter Jill Nunag and her husband Kent of California, her great-granddaughter Hannah and her great-grandson Ferris and several nieces and nephews. Marilyn was sister to the late Richard Mason and Grace Steele and a grandmother to the late Michael Littlefield. Born July 23, 1925 in Stoughton, Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late Arthur Mason Jr. and Lillian (Crockett) Mason. She attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a proud member of the Stoughton High School Class of 1943. Mrs. Littlefield was a caring and loving wife and mother. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Marilyn worked as an Electronics Technician for the Motorola Company until her retirement in 1990. She was a member and attended The First Congregational Church of Stoughton. Marilyn was an avid reader and enjoyed making ceramics. Visiting hours were held on Sunday July 14, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. A funeral service to celebrate Marilyns life was held on Monday July 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. The Pastor Mary Perry, officiated. All were welcome to attend. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Activities Department of the Copley At Stoughton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 380 Sumner Street, Stoughton,MA 02072 in Marilyns memory would be appreciated.
