Mary I. Mosher Obituary
Mary I. Marie (Saia) Mosher, 80, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Tuesday, April 23. She was the devoted wife of 44 years of Andrew C. Mosher. B orn and raised in Dorchester, she was educated at St. Peter School in Dorchester and St. Patrick School in Roxbury. She was a resident of Stoughton for 42 years after living in Avon for several years. Mrs. Mosher was a bookkeeper at Liberty Mutual for several years and a part-time librarian at the Gibbons Elementary School in Stoughton for 18 years before retiring 20 years ago. She loved cooking, shopping and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mosher was the beloved mother of Brian V. Nickerson of Braintree, Vincent J. Jimmy Nickerson of Florida, Andrea Fierimonte and her husband Fernando of Northboro and the late Raymond V. Nickerson. She was the loving grandmother of Anthony, Andrew and Alec Fierimonte. She is also survived by two other grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral was held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, Monday, April 29, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Michael Church, Avon, at 9 a.m. Visiting hours were Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
