S. Eva (Atkinson) Blanchard, 96 of Abington formerly of Stoughton and Rockland, died on March 15, 2013 at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick. She was born in Nova Scotia, Canada and was raised and educated in Brigh- ton and Dorchester. Eva had been employed for many years at Butler Auto- matic Co. in Canton as a materials coordinator. She had been a longtime member of the 1st Congregational Church in Rockland. Wife of the late Wilson H. Red Blanchard, Sr. she is survived by her children, Barbara M. Blanchard of Rockland and Wilson H. Billy Blanchard, Jr. of Framingham. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 3-6 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. in Rockland. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 6:00 PM following visitation. After cremation burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
