Elizabeth Betty (Zabrosky) Murphy, 71, died Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a graduate of St. Marys School in Stoughton and St. Patricks High School in Brockton. She also attended secretarial school. Mrs. Murphy worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Edward Jacobs in Easton for many years, retiring 5 years ago. She was a lifelong resident of Stoughton. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. "For every thing there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven." Betty leaves her beloved son, Liam M. Murphy of Bellingham; her devoted sister, Helen Campanario of Easton; her cherished nephews, John and Peter Campanario; and a host of loving friends and relatives.
