James Edward Jolie, 61, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born in Marlboro, MA to Napoleon and Edna Jolie and attended Marlboro schools until the passing of his parents in 1966. He then moved to Maynard to live with his older sister Vivian Kulik and her husband John and their family of seven children for his high school years, graduating from Maynard High School in 1970. Jim went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University in 1974, taught school for several years, then became a sales representative. At the time of his death he worked for Georg Fisher/Central Plastics. He was a resident of Shawnee, OK for 37 years. Surviving him are his wife, Kathy of 39 years; daughter and son-in-law Kristen and Dustin Roberts and four grandchildren; Cayden, Jaxson, Daxton and Kaelyn Roberts. Also surviving Jim are his brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Carole Jolie of Westboro, Raymond and Shirley Jolie of Northboro and Paul and Jane Jolie of Dacula, GA. Jims older sister Vivian Kulik predeceased him but her husband John and six of their seven children and spouses are in the Maynard area- Karen Grimes, Steven Kulik, Michael Kulik, Laurie Kumm, Janet Nelson, Patricia White. John Jr. lives in Oregon. Family and friends were received at the Walker Funeral Home in Shawnee on September 16 and services were held at the Chapel on September 17, 2013.
