Henry F. Danico Sr. Hank, age 77, a resident of Stoneham for 46 years died suddenly at home, resulting from a massive coronary. He was the cherished husband of Marilyn (Oehmigen) Danico with whom he had shared nearly 50 years of marriage. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Frank and Annie (Elliman) Danico. Hank was raised in Wilmington and graduated from Wilmington High School. He earned his bachelor degree in hardware design engineering from Northeastern University. Mr. Danico had been employed as a design engineer for TRW of Cambridge and Westminister. He held many patents in fastener design. Following his retirement 10 years ago, Mr. Danico rekindled his interest in woodworking and built a log cabin in Freedom, N.H. where he and his family shared wonderful times together. He was an avid fisherman, especially fly fishing, and he enjoyed gardening and woodcarving. Mr. Danico had been a troop leader in Boy Scouts when his boys were active in scouts. He was a talented singer, having taken part in a barbershop quartet and musical theater; his most memorable being Music Man. He was a volunteer at the North Shore Music Theater in Beverly. In addition to his wife Marilyn; he is survived by his devoted daughters Catherine Brewer and her husband David, and Elise Reitshamer and her husband Stefan all of Wakefield and sons, Henry Danico, Jr. of Salem, N.H. and Mark Danico and his wife Angela of North Reading and eight adoring grandchildren, Michelle, Timothy and Matthew Brewer; Annmarie and Jillian Danico; Samuel, Max and Harold Reitshamer. Funeral services were held from the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham on Tuesday.
