Leslie Gundersen Obituary
Leslie Emma Trask (Belcher) Gundersen, of Boxborough, September 18, 2013. Born in Lexington, Massachusetts to the late Leslie Everett and Grace Gould Belcher on May 31, 1924, Leslie enjoyed life with her parents and two brothers Joseph (deceased) and John (deceased). After completing her secondary education in Lexington, and obtaining a bookkeeping degree, she worked at John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston. In her free time, she became quite good at roller-skating but an interest in skiing led to her marriage to Norman Gundersen. Her passion was raising their children yet she still managed to win a number of blue ribbon awards for her tasty apple pies which were always enjoyed by her husband Norman of sixty years. She is survived by her husband and children: Cynthia, Joseph, Lynne, John, Mark, Eric, Shawn and Heather. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation for relatives and friends on October 11, 2013 from 4pm - 7pm at the Badger Funeral Home, Littleton Mass. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 12th 11am at the Boxborough South Cemetery followed by a reception at the Boxborough Congregational Church, 723 Mass Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Life Choice Hospice, 15 Midstate Drive, Suite 215, Auburn, MA 01501.
