Obituary Condolences

Wallis N. Fisher, 83, of Norfolk and formerly of Walpole, died May 3rd at Worcester, Mass. He was born July 6, 1929 at Quincy, Mass., son of the late Carroll E. Fisher and Ethel (Nelson) Fisher. He graduated from North Quincy High School and Burdett College, Boston, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was employed as an automotive parts salesman until his retirement. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (MacLeod), who passed away in 1988. For many years he was the cherished companion of Catherine Kelly of Norfolk. Devoted father of Carol Fisher-Crosby and her husband Paul of Sutton and Scott Fisher of Franklin. Brother of the late Jane Fisher of Walpole and Natalie Berglund of Scituate. Loving grandfather of Frances Crosby. Also also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Services were held on Thursday, May 8 from the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, Walpole, followed by interment at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
