Aldo D. Pellini, Jr., age 80, died in the Charlwell House in Norwood, Massachusetts on Friday, August 15, 2014. Born in Walpole, Massachusetts on May 16, 1934, he graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1951. He continued his education at the College of the Holy Cross, graduating with the class of 1955. After graduation, Aldo proudly served his country in the United States Army. He has been a resident of Walpole for the past 35 years. Aldo worked in the publishing field for many years. He was employed by Academic Press and Plenum before becoming a free lance advertising agent. He eventually produced his own newspaper, Manhattan Park West, on the Upper West Side of New York, which he ran for 5 years. He loved nature and enjoyed working in his garden. He also enjoyed wood carving and writing, especially poetry. Devoted son of the late Aldo D. and Giulia (Cardellini) Pellini. Loving brother of Rev. Robert R. Pellini, MM of Korea, John T. Pellini of NYC, Nancy M. Morrow of NJ, and the late Silvia A. MacPhee. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. All services are private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Walpole Food Pantry, P.O. Box 43, Walpole, MA 02081. Arrangements by James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home Walpole.
