Family, friends and all:
So sorry to hear of Jack's loss. I lived in Randolph years ago and met him. He was a man of the people...asked him to help in a health matter and he got the EPA involved.Tireless worker.Sen. Kennedy helped and we got a site in Holbrook designated as a Superfund site. His work and caring are his legacy. We owe him our health and well-being. In his quiet way, he did his service and is a hero.Never forgotten...may his memory and great deeds for us all be a comfort and a blessing.

My condolences to his family and prayers for a truly great man and mentor. Had the privilege and honor of working for Jack as a young man during his tenure on Beacon Hill and when he was a candidate for governor. We were very blessed to have a man of his integrity in a leadership role in this state, who always put the best interests of the people first. Jack was a powerful voice of common sense for the Commonwealth and will be missed.

I am deeply saddened by Jack's passing. I was privileged to know him for over 30 years beginning during our service together in the Massachusetts House..He was an exceptionally capable and dedicated legislator, as loyal to his constituents as he was to his principles. His courage and integrity were always foremost and took priority over his political and personal interests. Our democracy would be vastly bettered if all of its elected officials displayed just a fraction of Jack's qualities.
As a friend and colleague, Jack exhibited his good humor, engaging smile, keen intellect and deep and compassionate understanding of the human condition.
But above all, as Brenda and his children know, he treasured, took enormous pride in and deeply loved his family. He was an admirable and remarkable man in every way.
God bless you, Jack.

The Honorable Jack Flood - for honorable he indeed was - served this Commonwealth with great courage and dignity. His House years were at times turbulent, but he was a man of unwavering and staunch principle who was not afraid to stand up for us all even when it meant personal sacrifice. And it did. Through everything, there was his quick contagious smile and warm wit mixed with genuine intellect. It was an honor to know him. My deepest sympathy to all his family. May he rest in peace.
