Rose Muggeridge Obituary
Rose (Varjian) Muggeridge of Watertown (formerly of Franklin) passed away peacefully on November 19. Her husband David John Muggeridge predeceased her in 1959. She leaves her beloved son John Muggeridge and his wife Karen of Southborough, two granddaughters, Jacqueline of Boston and Diana of Washington, DC, and her sister Helen Katziff of Framingham and Sarasota. Roses other sister Mary Reilly and her three half-brothers Greg, Archie and Harry Varjian predeceased her. She has several cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved. Rose worked for over forty years at Beacon Press and the Unitarian Universalist Association in Boston, and enjoyed traveling and flower arranging. Rose was a graduate of Boston University, School of Practical Arts and Letters. She was also passionate about Armenian causes as her mother was a survivor of the Armenian genocide. A memorial service and collation will be held at the Armenian Museum of America in Watertown on Saturday, December 9 at 2:00 pm with calling hours beginning at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Armenian Museum of America, 65 Main Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
