Denise Johnson

Denise Kiely Johnson, 58, died on October 1, 2013 at the Marlborough Hospital following a period of declining health. She was born in Arlington on August 19, 1955 the daughter of the late Laurence E. Kiely and Mary L. (Heaney) Kiely of Wayland. Besides her mother she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 32 years Jeffrey L. Jeff Johnson of Hudson. Beloved sister of Tim Kiely and his wife Mary Ann Kiely of Bedford. Cherished aunt of Chris, Erin and Jimmy Kiely all of Bedford. Sister-in-law of Chris Johnson and his fianc Edith Vezina of West Dennis. Denise spent her formative years in Wayland and graduated from Wayland High School with the Class of 1973. She attended Bay Path Community College and Mass Bay Community College. She had been associated for 26 years as a Secretary in the Town Clerks office in Weston before retiring. Denise was a longtime and avid Patriots fan supporting them in their winning and losing seasons. She also enjoyed doing cross stitch and loved to spend summers in South Yarmouth with her family. She and her husband Jeff also spent many happy hours with his family and friends on the beaches of Cape Cod. Denise was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all the lives that she touched in her 58 years. Visitations were held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland. Family and friends gathered at the funeral home on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 9:00 am followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at the Parish of the Good Shepherd at St. Anns Church, 124 Cochituate Rd (Rte 27) Wayland.
