Guy F. DiMilla Obituary
Guy F. DiMilla, 80, of Weston and formerly of Dover and Needham, died Tuesday January 8, 2013 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna L. (Spera) DiMilla, who died in 1984, and of the late Jacqueline V. (Ballard) DiMilla, who died 2005. A Weston resident for the past 5 years, of Dover for the previous 18 years, and of Needham the previous 20 years, he was born in Somerville the son of the late Gaetano and Antonetta (DiCiaccio) DeMilla Mr. DiMilla was an insurance agent for 50 years working for the Massachusetts Indemnity Insurance Company, Home Life Insurance Company, and Bay Financial Associates. He was a longtime member and former President of the Needham Lions Club and an avid gardener who took great pride in maintaining the landscaping at his home. He was a graduate of Boston University and a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. DiMilla was known for his generosity and thoughtfulness, regardless of who you were. Most of all he was devoted to his family and cherished the time he spent with his brother, children, and grandchildren. He is survived his children, Paul A. DiMilla of Dover, Michael G. DiMilla of Portland OR, Steven E. Wilson and his wife Dale of Framingham, Karan R. Brady of Mesa AZ, Debra J. Wilson of Orlando FL, Robert J. Wilson and his wife Brenda of Stoughton, and Lisa B. LaKind of Chandler AZ , one brother Salvatore J. DiMilla of Weston, his grandchildren Jennifer Wilson Rokes, Scott, Ryan ,and Amanda Wilson, Sean Brady, Samantha and Austin Bridges, and Jamie LaKind, great-grandchildren Cameron and Charlotte Rokes, and many nieces and nephews. He also was the brother of the late Marie DiMilla, Rose Brousseau, Sister Frances Carmelita (Carmen), and Anna L. Kenney. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday January 12, at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, 30 Centre Street, Dover at 10:00 A.M. Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Interment is at the Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick.
