Obituary Condolences

Roger Lee Kim Ferrelli, died suddenly on Sunday, June 29, 2014. He was born on February 14, 1947, the first of six children born to James W. Ferrelli and Joan (Kenney) Ferrelli. Roger lived most recently in Weston and previously in Natick. He was an accomplished mason, water skier, bow hunter and billiards player who cherished his time with family and friends. Roger was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was an employee of JFK Taxi in Framingham at the time of his death. Roger was a unique individual with strong opinions and was also a great storyteller. He had a big heart and was a beloved uncle, friend and mentor to his many nieces and nephews. He was the Big Brother to his sister and brothers for whom he always had advice. An avid outdoorsman, Rogerss favorite spot was the Quabbin Reservoir, where he spent many hours exploring the woods. A world class water skier, he was frequently seen on Lake Cochituate and his picture graced the cover of the Boston Herald Sunday Magazine in August 1981. He was a founding member of the Three Seasons Ski Club of Natick and also a proud member of RALPH | the Royal Association for the Longevity and Preservation of the Honeymooners. He was predeceased by his parents, James W. Pappy and Joan (Kenney) Ferrelli and recently his cousin and good friend, Ross Giamo. He is survived by his siblings Karla and her husband John of Burlington, VT; Russell Ruddy and his wife Janie of Framingham; Tina Chartrand and her husband Bill of Weston, Joseph and his wife Wendy of Sudbury; and James Jr. and his wife Maria of Stratham, NH Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Brooke, Gregory, Marc, Rachel, Joey, Sears, Jennie, Sarah, Jack, Teddy and Aiden. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life on Saturday, July 12 , 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm with a service immediately following at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland. Interment will be private for his family at their convenience.
