Patricia Pat or Trish Hines, 94, of Meredith, NH (formally of Wellesley, MA) passed away after a short illness on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Lakes Region General Hospital. She was born on March 14, 1923, in Boston, MA, the daughter of John and Margaret (Mahoney) King. She graduated from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Boston and worked at Longwood Towers in Brookline, MA for several years. Pat and her husband ran Windsor Mountain Camp for Boys on Lake Ossipee for five years. In addition they worked at Camp Idlewild for Boys on Lake Winnipesauke for fifteen summers. Pat was known as the Bank Lady to her campers. Pat loved reading, time on the lake, vacations to Camden and Ogunquit, ME, and watching sports, especially the Boston Red Sox. Her most loved moments were spent with her family during holidays and special occasions. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Bud E. Hines, sister Barbara K. Hennessy, and daughter-in-law, Joan C. Hines. She is survived by her brother John J. King, Jr., 92, of Brunswick, ME, her son, John R. Hines and his wife, Suzi, of Natick, MA, her son, Richard J. Hines and his wife, Darleen of Belmont, NH, five grandchildren; Kimberly McCormack and her husband, Sean of Bristol, RI, Lisa Wilkins and her husband, Christopher of Natick, MA, Patty MacLeod and her husband, Rory of Holliston, MA, Erin Hines of Canton, MA, and Jason Hines of Virginia Beach, VA; and three step-grandchildren, Devon Reed and his wife, Michelle of Medway, MA, Shelby Kilmister and her husband, Baron of Tilton, NH, and Kyle Reed and his wife, Jacquelyn of Holderness, NH. She loved seeing and hearing about her many great-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. There were no calling hours. Services were held in Meredith, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer's Association, or a charity of your choice. The Cremation Society of NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
