Kristen C. Kennedy of Weymouth, formerly of Braintree and Dedham, died Oct. 24, 2013. Beloved daughter of Paul Kennedy and Rose (Volpe) Kennedy of Quincy, she was the loving sister of Paul Kennedy and his wife Maria of Milton and Melissa Kennedy of Auterlitz, N.Y.; devoted partner of Tracee Whitley of Lexington, Ky.; cherished aunt of Vincent and Ian Kennedy of Milton. Kristen is also lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kristen was born in Quincy and raised and educated in Braintree. She was a graduate of Braintree High School, Class of 1982, Parson School of Design in New York and Mass College of Art. She was the owner and operator of Inhabit Designs in Weymouth. Kristen was a very talented designer and artist, creating beauty in everything she touched. She enjoyed skiing, gardening and most recently paddle boarding. Most of all Kristen loved children and her family. She was truly loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her. Visiting hours were Monday, Oct. 28, 4-8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A celebration of life service was held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral Mass in St. Anns Church, Quincy, at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow.
