Michael J. Coleman

Michael J. Coleman of Weymouth, age 73, passed away peacefully at home April 14, 2013. Beloved husband of Mary Louise (Connor) Coleman; loving father of Michelle A. Collins and Sean P. Coleman both of Hingham, Allison C. Muirhead and Jennifer A. Ross both of Hanover; and eight grandchildren whom he loved very much. He was the brother of Katherine Coleman of Osterville and Martin Coleman of Milton. He was the devoted son of the late Martin and Nora (Crehan) Coleman. Michael was appointed Clerk Magistrate of the Boston Municipal Court (Civil Division) in 1977 by then Governor Michael Dukakis and served in that position until his retirement. He loved walking, and vacationing on Cape Cod. But most of all he loved his family they meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. Michael proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. Visiting hours were held Thursday, April 18, 4-7 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, at 40 Sea St. (off Rte. 3A-Bicknell Square), North Weymouth.
