Anthony J. DelGreco Sr., 87, of Quincy, died September 14, 2017 at South Shore Hospital surrounded by the love, comfort and care of his family and friends following a short illness. Born and raised in Quincy, "Sonny" "Tony" and "JoJo", as he was affectionately known, was the son of the late Pasquale and Gilda (D'Allesandro) DelGreco. He served his country with honor in the US Army during the Korean war, and afterward worked as an electrician with Raytheon for 42 years before retiring in 1995. Mr. DelGreco was a member of the Weymouth-Braintree Lodge of Elks, Weymouth VFW, Cyril P. Morrisette Post 294 of the American Legion, and President of the Nantasket Beach Rat Pack. He was the husband of Josephine M. (Angelora), Father of Anthony J. DelGreco Jr. of Braintree and Sharon L. Ashley and her husband Brian of Easton. Grandfather of Aden and Sofia Ashley. Brother of Ralph DelGreco and his wife Linda of Plymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Gina (Pilalas) Fedele, extended family and good friends. His funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited, will be held Tuesday, September 19, at 11 am at Hamel Funeral Care & Cremation Service of Massachusetts, 26 Adams St, Quincy Center. Visiting hours Monday from 4-8 pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to: , P.O.
