Obituary Condolences

Barbara M. Wagner, 65 years of age, passed away at her home in South Weymouth on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014. She was born in Winchester, Mass. and received a Bachelors of Education Degree from the University of Hawaii. She subsequently received her Masters Degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She was a special needs teacher for the Randolph School System where she was employed for some 25 years before her retirement. She was member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association. Barbara was an expert at crossword puzzles. She had racing pigeons as a hobby. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Wagner and she is survived by her mother Mary (Costello) Wagner of Dallas, Texas. She was the beloved fiance of John L. Mathieu of Weymouth for the past 35 years. She is survived by a brother Richard Wagner of Dallas, Texas, a nephew Scott T. Wagner married to Erin Wagner of Dallas, Texas and grand-nephews Robert Thomas Wagner and Jason Wagner of McKinney, Texas. Visiting hours WAS held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Friday, Sept. 5, from 10 to noon. A prayer service at 12:15 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
