Evelyn "Evie" V. Fowler, of Weymouth, known to the Naughty Needlers as their mentor, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 30. Evie was known by many for all her volunteer work at the senior center, town hall and many other places. She was a former town meeting member, a member of Rebeccas and Eastern Star. Helped build Thayer Pharmacy from two stores to 19 and owner of Bell Card & Candle. A life member of Wessagussett YC, she enjoyed many years of boating in the New England area. She is survived by her daughters Barbara and Michael Dunn, Joanne Kaiser Deceased, Debbie Caldwell Connell and Jim, her sons David Fowler, Douglas Fowler and wife Mercy. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at a The First Church of Weymouth, 17 Church Street, Weymouth Heights, MA 02189 on Saturday, June 30 at 11a.m.
