Jacqueline L. Keefe Obituary
Jacqueline L. (Boman) Keefe, age 89, formerly of Milton and Quincy, died peacefully, Friday, March 7, 2014 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Jacqueline was born and raised in South Boston. She was a graduate of Portland High School in Maine. She had lived in Milton for fifteen years, previously in Quincy for most of her life. Jackie worked as a waitress for many years at various local establishments, including the former Red Coach Grill in Braintree, before retiring as a cashier from the Medical Information Bureau. Beloved wife of the late Francis P. Keefe. Devoted mother of Janice E. Langton and her husband Joseph of Brockton, Ronald L. Keefe of Weymouth, Terrence P. Keefe of Milton, Patricia A. Keefe and Brian Tully of Milton, the late William E. Keefe, and the late Dennis F. Keefe. Loving grandmother of twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral Services was conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy, Tuesday, March 11th at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting at the funeral home prior to the service from 9-11 a.m. Interment Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
