James F. Clare Sr. Obituary
James F. Clare Sr., 78, of Weymouth and Sarasota, Fla., died August 26, 2017, after battling lung cancer. Jim was retired after 30 years as an Electrical Design Engineer with the Badger Co. He loved spending his winters in Sarasota, Fla. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends, especially his 3 grandsons. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was the loving husband of Lillian D'Angelo Clare; loving father of James Clare Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Bolingbrook, Ill.; beloved grandfather of Sgt. Ryan Clare and his wife Denise of Fairbanks, Alaska, Kevin Clare of Newport, R.I., and Kyle Clare of Bolingbrook, Ill. He was the son of the late Francis J. and Helen M. Clare; brother to Lorraine Lynch and husband Tim of Gallatin, Tenn., Robert Clare of Yarmouth, William Clare and wife Nancy of Braintree, and the late Nancy Pabitsky, Beverly Clare, Diane Clare, and Patricia McLaughlin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Immaculate Conception Church in Weymouth on Saturday, September 9, 2017, from 9:45 to 10:15 a.m., followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Donations in Jim's name may be made to the Lori Maly Fund supporting Sabre Hockey players in financial need, at www.sabrehockey.com and click the Lori Maly Fund icon on the right hand side of page.
