Judith A. Farren Obituary
Judith A. Farren, 73, of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2017, after a period of failing health. She is survived by her brother, John Farren of Webster; and her sister, Joan Farren DaSilva of Weymouth. She was predeceased by her brother, James Farren, and her beloved partner of 35 years, Ann R. McGrath. Born November 14, 1944, she was the eldest daughter of the late Frank and Mary Farren. Judy was a graduate of Weymouth High School (1962) and Bridgewater State University (1966). She went on to be an elementary school teacher and then ran her own graphic design business for many years. Judy was a very loving and proud aunt to her many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. Judy was a travel enthusiast, an avid reader and a huge Patriots and Red Sox fan. She could be found at Foxwoods on her birthday, or at Webb Park sitting by the water with music in her headphones and the sun on her face. She also enjoyed her time on both the beach and boardwalk in North Hampton, N.H., every summer for the past 20 years. Honoring Judy's wishes, there will be no formal services. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations in her honor can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, a cause she was passionate about, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
