Majdis Flynn Obituary
Majdis (Anderson) Flynn of North Weymouth, passed away on May 14, 2017. She was a graduate of Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing, worked briefly at National Fireworks in Whitman, and was a registered nurse for 30 years at Lahey Clinic. During WWII, she served as a lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps. Majdis enjoyed spending time with her family and had a passion for gardening and word search puzzles. Daughter of the late John and Hulda Anderson, she was the beloved wife of the late Edmund Flynn. Loving stepmother of Kathy Flynn, Marion Flynn, Evelyn Mavilia and the late Alton Flynn. Sister of Howard Anderson (deceased), Johannes "Holger" Anderson (deceased), and his wife Lucille (deceased), Charles Anderson (deceased) and his wife Janette (deceased), Gladys Eckblom (deceased) and her husband, Bert (deceased), Evelyn Tribou (deceased) and her husband, Bob (deceased), Harold Anderson (deceased) and his wife Mildred, Walter Anderson and his wife Dorothy (deceased), Mildred Grant and her husband Robert (deceased), Ella and Warren McKinnon, and Arthur and Annette Anderson. Also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be celebrated Saturday, May 20, at 10 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 201 Granite Street, Quincy.
