Marjorie L. Miller Obituary
Marjorie L. (Burr) Miller passed away at Milton Hospital on Feb. 25, 2017, after a brief illness. She was 95 years of age. She was born and raised in Quincy. She attended Quincy Public Schools and graduated from Quincy High School. She held several secretarial jobs including Dr. Davidsons Office, The Patriot Ledger and Harrison Publishing House. She was a Rainbow Girl and was an active member of the First Church of Squantum and Stamp Club. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, playing cards and crocheting. She loved traveling with her family to Pennsylvania and Lake Winnipesaukee. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Mildred (Bonney) Burr; dear sister of the late Barbara Tardiff; beloved wife of the late Warren Miller; devoted mother of Carl Miller of Squantum and Carol Satterlund of Orlando, Fla.; loving grandmother of four grandchildren, Lee Ann Zappi and husband John, Tracy Figueiredo and her husband Paul, Eric Satterlund and his wife Kerri and Marc Satterlund; cherished great-grandmother of Bryanna, Olivia, Maddy, Aiden and Ryan. She was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Interment at Mount Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy on Friday, March 10, at 11 a.m. Arrangements made by Hamel, Wickens and Troupe, 26 Adams St., Quincy Center.
