Robert P. Hatch Obituary
Robert Perry Hatch 92 years of age of North Weymouth passed away at his home on February 8, 2018 following a period of declining health. He was born in Boston and was a WWII Navy Veteran. Over the years he was a Machinist for the Instron Company of Canton. He resided in North Weymouth since 1952. He was a former resident of Braintree and he attended Braintree schools. He was a member of Braintree Post 86 American Legion where he played in their band. He was also a member of the DAV. He and his wife enjoyed camping and were members of the North American Family Campers Assn. He is survived by his wife Margaret Bruce (Fyfe) Hatch; a son Robert Bruce Hatch married to Cheryl (Smith) Hatch of Abington. He was the grandfather of Richard B. Hatch married to Taryn Hatch of Raynham and Ryan B. Hatch of Abington. Robert was the brother of the late Gertrude Inglis formerly of Hingham. Visiting hours will be at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 870 Broad Street (opposite the US Post Office) in Jackson Square E. Weymouth, Monday, February 12th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday, February 13th at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, East Weymouth. Memorial donations may be sent to the Brigham & Womens Hospital, Development Department, 116 Huntington Avenue 3rd Floor, Boston, MA 02116.
