Susan (Remick) Coleman, 66, of Abington formerly of Quincy, died peacefully at home November 22, 2017 surrounded by the love, comfort and care of her family. She was the devoted wife of 30 years to the late John J. Coleman, III. Born in Boston and raised in Quincy, she was a daughter of the late Allen P. and Esther E. (Helland) Remick. She was a 1968 graduate of Quincy High School and has been employed with Waste Management in numerous positions for the last 29 years. She will be lovingly remembered as a caring and self-less mother, sister and friend by all who knew her. Loving mother of Julie A. Coleman and John J. Coleman, IV both of Abington. Dear sister of Carol A. Remick-Salverio and her husband Mark Salverio of Hanover, Lynn A. Remick of Abington, Paul A. Remick and his wife Julie of Salem Oregon, and the late Jean C. Remick formerly of Dennisport. Special aunt of Pamela J. Kendall of Harwich and Michael R. Salverio of Hanover. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. Her funeral, to which relatives and friends cordially invited, will be held Saturday December 2 at 11 a.m. in Faith Lutheran Church, 201 Granite St, Quincy, MA 02169 with the Rev. Heidi Johnston, Pastor, officiating. Interment private, and visiting hours respectfully omitted. Donations in her memory may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
