Teri A. Scroggins Obituary
Teri Anne Remondini Scroggins, 59, a native of Weymouth, and a longtime resident of Mobile, Ala., died Oct. 13, 2016 at the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Scroggins was educated in Weymouth Public Schools and graduated in 1975 from Weymouth North High School and later from Chamberlayne Junior College in Boston, Mass. She worked in the retail fashion industry in Massachusetts, Fall Church, Va. and New Orleans, La. before moving to Mobile. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, adult coloring projects, and spent many enjoyable times at the family vacation home in Destin. Mrs. Scroggins was also a longtime volunteer for the Our Sisters Closet thrift store at her sons former elementary school, St. Mary's Catholic School, in Mobile. She is survived by her son, Todd G. Scroggins, of Mobile, Ala., her mother, Jeanne M. Remondini, of Weymouth, her brother, David J. Remondini, and his wife, Lou Ann Baker, of Indianapolis, and her mother- in-law, Jan Scroggins, of Destin, Fla. Her husband, M. David Scroggins Jr., died in 2007. Her father, Ernest B. Remondini, and a younger brother, James Remondini, both of Weymouth, and her father-in-law, Michael Scroggins, of Destin, Fla., also predeceased her. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Sisters Closet. Radney Funeral Home of Mobile, Ala. is handling the arrangements.
