He was choir director and organist at St. Cecilia's in Back Bay, Boston, where I was a choir singer and his page turner from Sept, 1973 to May, 1975. I have memories of his choir Christmas parties - at his apartment in Cambridge, 1973, then at a rented house in Watertown, 1974. What a great guy and a musical influence on my life. My condolences to his surviving family members.

My Uncle Danny was truly one of a kind, a very unique special man that God chose to gift him with many talents, compassion, sincerity, and a genuine careingness for humanity. I can remember when I was growing up my mom, and uncle danny telling us that he was a monk for a short time, then realized his true passion was with music. After recieving his masters Degree in music, then he went on to teach, nuture, and inspire many children over the years at the Perkin's School for the blind, and I'm sure many adults along the way, and also to be the musical director of his church. Wow, incredible, bravo to you Uncle Danny! What a great Legacy of your life you've left behind for generations to come of all your accomplishment's, and contributions. You've been a blessing for many, and am quite sure that all of your dreams were fullfilled also. I have many fond memories of you coming to visit us when we were very young on our Birthday's, and Holiday's with Nanny, Frankie, Janet, Janice, and your friend Angela, we all had some good times together. These memories I will alway's cherish forever. Thank you for that, and just for being you. Now you are one of God's Singing Angel's in his Kingdom for eternity! "GOD BLESS" you Uncle Danny! Dan was a classmate at the New England Conservatory of Music.
As a talented musician, he taught for many years, but later entered his first love, Church Music,, where he sang so well,
played organ, and directed Choirs in many Churches.
He will be missed by many.

My uncle Danny was a kind caring and talented man this man could have done anything he wanted in life and succeeded at it but instead he chose a life of servitude to those less fortunate then the rest of us by applying his talents and gifts and many years of educating himself so he could make a difference in the lives of those that he had touched I am so proud of my uncle Danny he has fulfilled a wonderful Life of humility caring and servitude there is nothing more noble that a man or woman could possibly do in this lifetime but to serve others my uncle Danny was a man of modest means and lifestyle but he was rich rich in his work which I'm sure he did not even consider work uncle Danny you are missed greatly and I love you and I will never forget you love David pastor

I loved Dan. He was a wonderful friend and teacher whom I will dearly miss. I know that angels carried him to our Lord and he will delight all in Heaven with his musical talent. I share deepest condolences with all who were blessed by his presence but he is happy because he is with Jesus.

I've always looked up to, respected and loved this man I call my uncle Danny.
My uncle Danny loved life to the fullest,
always with a warm smile on his face and kinds words to all those he had met.
This man could have succeeded at anything
he wanted, but instead chose a life of servitude. and what an amazing life it was.
He marched to the beat of his own drum and produced great results of love and joy
that he shared with those that were less
fortunate.
I can't think of anything more Noble than to serve others with kindness, grace and humility. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!
We all love you very much uncle Danny.
LOVE,
David Pastor

I was shocked when I received a phone call from Fr. Ray Kiley on Wednesday telling me about the passing of Dan. We spent 23 yrs together at St. Clements. Dan was an exceptional Organist and Pianist, as a Cantor and a member of his choir, Dan took pride in putting on many Xmas Concerts of more than 50+members of both Adults and Children. Dan was also an excellent cook, and loved having parties at his house. There is so much more to mention, but I would love to end by saying, Dan, Thank You, for being You, I am going to miss you.
