Phyllis I. Ring, age 91, of Plymouth, formerly of Woburn, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 28, 2018, surrounded by loving family members. Phyllis married her husband, Albert Francis Ring, in 1948, and enjoyed 58 years together until his passing in 2007. She was the loving mother of Pamela Ring of Olympia, Wash., Albert Francis Ring Jr. of Christmas, Fla., Dennis Ring of Plymouth, and the late Karen Ring-Connelly, and Mary Ellen Ring. Phyllis is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Wakefield, October 5, 1927, daughter of the late Joseph P. and Mary I. (Scipione) Cardillo, she was a graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1945, and Bryant Stratton Business School. Phyllis went on to reside in Woburn for 55 years where she raised her family. She was an amazing mother and wife. Phyllis had a great sense of humor and was always up for an adventure. She could often be found shopping, always having a coupon for a good bargain. In their retirement Phyllis and Albert traveled and had lots of fun. In 2002 the two relocated to Plymouth to be closer to family. Phyllis ended up settling in Laurelwood at the Pinehills, Plymouth, until her passing. She will be sorely missed by her loving family. Arrangements are under the care of Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd. (Manomet) Plymouth. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 3, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., followed by a service in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place in Woodbrook Cemetery, in Woburn. Donations in Phyllis's memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, 32 Resnick Rd., Suite 3, Plymouth, MA 02360, or to the Alzheimer's Association, 300 Waverly Oaks Dr., Waltham, MA 02452. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family.
Phyllis must have been an extraordinary woman to have lived 91 years.
She no doubt created many wonderful memories.
May those cherished thoughts bring comfort as you look with confidence to the beautiful promise at John 6:39, 40.

A life well spent has many tender memories attached to it. As family and friends fondly share those memories it helps with the grieving process. Hebrews 5:7 will bring you all comfort and hope as well.

Sorry for your loss. I will miss seeing her and Dennis in in the Avita wing at Laurelwood. You all did so much to take good care of her and surround her with love.
The pain of the long goodbye is now over. Forever hold your memories of her in love. As you did as you took care of her.
Love to all in the Ring family.

Dear Dennis and family, Mother was such a sweet lady, and you were the best son anyone could ever ask for, so dedicated in her care and well being. She would give us such a big smile with the mention of your name. I will miss holding hands during our music concerts and sitting across in the dining room many evenings, her eyes would always light up and the big smile with the mention of "good Italian food" she was such a dear. My heartfelt condolences to the entire Ring family. Donna and Lisa Fantasia
