Roberta M. Bobbie Davis, 68, of Hampton, died suddenly February 11, 2013 while wintering in Sun City Center, Fla. She was born in Lawrence, MA October 13, 1944 the daughter of the late Robert M. and Nathalie A. (Sheldon) Nichols. She graduated from Andover High School, Andover, Mass., with the Class of 1962, Chandler Secretarial School of Boston in 1964 and Northern Essex Community College. She was employed as a contracts administrator for Foster Miller a government contracting firm in Waltham, Mass. Mrs. Davis resided in Wilmington and Billerica, Mass., before retiring to Silver Lake in Madison, NH. She moved to Hampton in 2009. Her family was most important to her, especially her grandchildren. She was the wife of the late George M. Davis who predeceased her in 2010. Family members include two sons, Leonard C. Davis and wife Susan of Rowlett, TX, Brian M. Davis and wife Kelly of Exeter, her daughter, Pamela McGuinness and husband George of Methuen, Mass., six grandchildren, Paige, Alec, Dylan, Eryn, Carter and Madison, her brother, Arthur Nichols and wife Pamela of Andover, Mass., her sister, Judith Ward of Rich Square, NC, cousins, nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held from 10-11 A.M. Friday, February 22, 2013 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will immediately follow at 11 A.M.
