I worked for Alex at GA EPD in the 1990s. She was an incredibly productive and reasonable supervisor with a good sense of humor. I particularly remember her for her poise (when crap was hitting the fan), smile, and sparkling eyes.

I first met Alex at the back of a lecture hall at Georgia Tech in late 1979. I saw a beautiful woman looking around and said, "Why don't you sit here? I don't bite...hard." And the world was changed forever. It has been my pleasure and privilege to have her a part of my life since then. It never worked out between us, but it never affected our friendship; she once said that she'd take a bullet for me. It's gonna be tough working around the big hole in the air where she used to be. G-d I miss her. ;-(

I was saddened by Alex's passing. I enjoyed knowing and working with her, she with EPD, I with EPA.
We all hope for more time and, thanks to the love and memories, she will be always remain present. God took her pain away and brings her peace; now we ask that God give you and us the grace to grow strong from this separationo and loss. God bless you all!

It has been my pleasure working with Alex for the past 4 years. I have observed her work ethics, Alex took great pride in her work. To her family and especially to her sons Ian and Connor I am sorry.

My sorrow to the family of Alex at this time. How we long for the day when all injustices, including the most painful injustice of all, death, will be done away with as our Creator promised.- Psalm 72:12-14"

My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Alex. She was a valued public servant for her work at the EPD and will be missed. I always enjoyed working with Alex because she was both challenging and fair minded. She will be in my prayers.
