Obituary Condolences

Julia T. Mulkerin Obituary
Julia T. (Fitzgerald), Mulkerin, "Judy" 72, died peacefully at home on May 28, 2013 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Jack, in November. Judy was a compassionate listener and brilliant conversationalist who loved holding court around her kitchen table. She was never afraid to state her opinion -- in fact she insisted on it. The only thing she loved more than verbal sparring were her eight cherished grandchildren, each of whom will greatly miss her and her chicken salad, frosted brownies and pasta with meat sauce. Judy is survived by her four beloved children, Mary Mulkerin Donius and her husband, Kevin, of Hingham; Julie of Salem; Anna Baxter and her husband, Bill, of Winchester and John and his companion Rebeka Fluet of Quincy. She is also survived by Maggie, Jack, Michael and Caitlin Donius; Katherine and Will Baxter; and Rory and Scarlett Mulkerin. Judys family is especially grateful for the care she received at the end of her life, especially from her devoted friend and caregiver Joann Greieco. Arrangements handled by the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main Street, WINCHESTER. A funeral service was held Friday, May 31 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Charles Borromeo, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10 AM, immediately followed by Interment at Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. In lieu of flowers, Judys family respectfully suggests a donation to VNA Hospice Care, 100 Sylvan Rd., G-500, Woburn, MA, 01801. For online condolences please visit www.lanefuneral.com.
