RAGLAND, W.Va. — Alice Cisco, 95, of Ragland, passed away Thurs., March 27, 2014, at her home.
Born March 27, 1919 at Ragland, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Susan Hall Duty. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Barney Cisco; son, Wayne Cisco; daughters, Delcie Clay and Phyllis Tenant, and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Cisco was a homemaker and a member of the Ragland Church of Christ since age 15. Her favorite hobby was to plant and harvest a garden. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Cecil (Lovis) Cisco of Ragland, Minnie Roberson (Gail Baisden) of Red Jacket, Lola (Robert) Hondel of Amanda, Ohio, Ella (Bob) Kerr of Lockbourne, Ohio, and Jane (James B.) Gilman of Stoutsville, Ohio. She also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at noon Sat., March 29, at Chafin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Duty Cemetery at Ragland.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home chapel.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
