LENORE, W.Va. — Phyllis Fields, 72, went home to be with the Lord Mon., April 7, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born July 31, 1941, at Wayne Co., she was a daughter of the late Hayden Parsley and Jenettie Johnson Bartram. Mrs. Fields was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Johnny Fields, and son, Greg William Wesley Fields, and his wife, Bonnie.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Living God at Stollings.
Her survivors include her children, David (Vanessa) Bartram, Johnny Jr. (Margaret) Fields, Greg Anthony Fields, Donna (Warren) McClung, Bitha (Randall) Miller, Lori (Shawn) Goff, Patricia Gail Fields and Tierra Fields; brother, Hayden Parsley Jr.; 39 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs., April 10, at Ajax Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with Rev. Josh Hall and Rev. Randy Shell officiating. Burial will follow in Fields Cemetery at Beauty, Ky.
Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Wednesday evening at the church.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
