WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Dallas Ray May, 67, of Williamson, passed away Tuesday morning, June 3, 2014, at his home.

Born May 8, 1947, at Huddy, Ky., he was a son of the late Jonah and Nolecca Blackburn May. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Denvia "Denny" May, and sister, Kathy Joe May.

Dallas was a retired salesman and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his loving wife, Peggy June May; son, Dallas R. May II of Huddy, Ky.; daughter, Denvia (Todd) Wallace of Ragland; brothers, Jonah May of Huddy, Roger May and Larry May, both of Knox, Ind., and Bryan May of Rome, N.Y.; sisters, Velva Ball of Johns Creek, Ky., Alice DeMurray of Ball Fork, Ky. and Shelia May of Cleveland, Ohio; grandsons, Dallas R. May III and Brady Wallace, and a host of other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday and Friday from 6 - 9 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Per his request, after visitation he will be cremated.
