Dana Ray Bragg

Dana Ray Bragg, age 72 of Taylorsville passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at his residence. Born December 12, 1940 to the late Ray Ernie and Pricie (Gillum) Bragg in Mingo County, W.Va.

He was a Veteran in the US Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era and worked for American Roller Bearing for 26 years as a machinist.

He loved his children, grandchildren, family gatherings, and the occasional hunting trips. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by 2 grandchildren: Dustin James Sweet and Tosha Lashae Sweet. Survivors include his daughters: Betty (Bobby) Reynolds, Leah Mathis, and Kathy (Robert) Gryder; son: Dana Ray (Christy) Bragg, Jr.; the mother of his children: Barbara Bragg; sisters: Saundra (Charles) Murphy of Delbarton, WV; Linda (Stewart) Justice, and Brenda (Russell) Shell, both of Logan, WV; brother: Marion (Mary) Bragg of Delbarton, WV; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm at Rocky Face Baptist Church and Service will begin at 5:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
