LAWTON, Okla. — Funeral service for SFC (Retired) E.F. Farley, 83, Lawton, Okla., will be at 11 a.m. Thurs., Nov. 14, at Bible Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Weger, Pastor, officiating.

Sergeant Farley died Sun., Nov. 10, 2013 at a local hospital.

Burial with full military honors will be at the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Okla., under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Sergeant Farley was born on May 16, 1930, in Elk Creek, a son of the late Eli Fernandis and Martha Slone Farley. He served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years earning the Republic of Vietnam Commendation Medal w/60 device, 4 Overseas bars, Bronze Star Medal and the Good Conduct Medal 6th Award. He married Kazuko Kojima on April 15, 1958, in Japan. After his military retirement he owned and operated Farley's Shoe, Boot and Saddle Repair. He was also a bee keeper.

Survivors include his wife of the home; three children, Elaine Farley Moore, Eli Farley and Martha Farley, all of Lawton; two grandchildren, Monique Aycock Lee and Michael Ross Farley; a great-grandson, Evan Allen French; two nephews, E.F. Farley and wife Toni, and Johnny Eli Brewster and wife Sibly; a niece, Joyce Smith and husband Keith; four great-nephews, Chaz Farley, Gavin Farley, Marshall Simon Smith and Cody Smith, and three cousins, Jake and wife Lorraine Curry, Edward and wife Ogie Slone and Rex Slone.
