DELBARTON, W.Va. — Dolly Faye Baisden, 66, of Delbarton, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 29, 2013, at her home.
Born March 12, 1947, in Delbarton, she was a daughter of the late Elder Willie and Parlee Justice Varney. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Ronald, Donald, John and James Henry Varney; sister, Margaret Ann Sleeper; sister-in-law, Maxine Varney; great-grandchild, Easton Aaron Charles Graley, and two nieces, Lisa Varney and Kylie Belcher.
Dolly was of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and being a homemaker.
Survivors include the father of her children, David L. Baisden; brother, Clayburn Varney of North Carolina; sisters, Minta Gay (Raymond) Gilman of Slateville, Ohio, and Glenna (Neal) Roberson of Delbarton; son, William "Bill" (Robin) Baisden of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Davina (Henry) Ball and Delena (Bethany) Baisden, both of Delbarton; eight grandchildren, Stacey (Billy) Lee, William "Billy" (Mandy) Baisden, Gordon Mills, Jeremy Lowe, Jonathan Lowe, Jocelyn Lowe, Joshua Baisden and Jillenna Lowe; five great-grandchildren which whom she dearly loved, Erica and Hailey Howell, Maddyson Justice, Kimberly Jamie Lynn Justice and Joshua Lee, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dolly was a special lady and was loved dearly by all who knew her. She leaves behind special friends and loved ones and will be sadly missed by all.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, September 1, at Chafin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Varney Cemetery at Ragland.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
