GAHANNA, Ohio — Carolyn Sue New, 72, went to heaven Wed., June 25, 2014.
She attended Williamson High School and earned her BA in Business at Franklin University. She worked 20 years as a CPA for the IRS, member of Eastpointe Christian Church, an Ohio State Buckeye fan and loved traveling and family get-togethers. She took care of her mother and disabled sister while she worked full-time.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Beulah and Paul New; sisters, June Brown, and Barbara New; brother, Paul E. New; step-mother, Mamie New; nieces, Nancy Brown, and Pamela Sue Snider, and brother-in-law, Verne Snider.
Survivors include her sister, Louise Snider; brother, Jack (Marcia) New; sister-in-law, Eloise New; brother-in-law, Ray Brown; cousin, Georgina Galilei; many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs, Bridgett, Misty, Rocky and Sadie.
Family will receive friends at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.), Gahanna, on Fri., June 27, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Sat., June 28. Scott Russell of Eastpointe Christian Church will be officiating. Interment will be at Amanda Township Cemetery in Amanda, Ohio.
