RED JACKET, W.Va. — William Wilburn "Pee Wee" Dotson, 62, of Red Jacket, passed away Tues., July 8, 2014, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington.
Born March 1, 1952 at Thacker, he was a son of the late Ruby Dotson Fields. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, Luther Fields; two sisters, Deloris Fields and Rachel Charles, and a niece, Nicole "Nikki" Goad.
He was a former conductor for the C&O Railroad, and a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his former wife, Randi Spence of Portland, Ore.; two step-children, Miranda Spence and Stephanie Spence, both of Portland; two brothers, Paul Fields of Williamson and Luther Fields II of Pinsonfork, Ky.; two sisters, Pauline Collins of Red Jacket and Kathy Goad of Beech Creek; a special niece, Anna Key, with whom he resided, of Red Jacket; and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Sun., July 13, at Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, Ky. Military honors will be conducted following the visitation, and in honoring his wishes, he will be cremated following the visitation.
