ELK CREEK, W.Va. — Glenna Rae Coleman, 70, of Elk Creek, passed away Fri., Aug. 8, 2014 at the Williamson Memorial Hospital.
Born July 22, 1944, at Holden, she was a daughter of the late Sampson and Nellie Maynard Moore. She was also preceded in death by a son, Eugene Michael Amey; daughter, Dawn Marie Itrich, and brother, Willard Moore.
Glenna was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Algonac, Mich. She also attended the Victory Christian Center at Lenore. She was a homemaker.
Those left behind to cherish her memories include her longtime husband, George Coleman; son, Jerome Coleman of Florida; daughters, Lisa Berry and Eugina Amey, both of Florida, Melissa Raven and Kimberly Amey Riley, and Melda Bates of Virginia; brother, Danny Moore of Lenore; sister, Shearell Ball of Elk Creek; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wed., Aug. 13, at Victory Christian Center with Rev. Terry Blankenship and Rev. John Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferrell Cemetery at Lenore.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Tuesday evening at the church with services starting at 7 p.m.
