Eddie "E.T." McSwain Jr., 66, died Dec. 10, 2012.
He was born in Winter Haven Oct. 24, 1946 to Eddie Mc Swain Sr. and his wife. He had lived in this area from 1984 coming from Auburndale. He was a truck driver with his wife by his side. He was in the Reserves. He loved to fish and hunt in his spare time and could make things out of a pile of junk. He was a Christian and a member of the Ramsey Bend Hunting Club.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Connie; his sons, Kenneth Darrin, Eddie "Ted" (Amy) Mc Swain III; daughter, Katherine D. (Wayne) Touchton; a sister, Shelby (O.D.) Haines; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Dec. 14 at Knauff Funeral Home. Interment followed at Chiefland Cemetery.
