Paul Richard Martin, 84, of Williston died Jan. 31, 2013.

He was born Sept. 8, 1928 in Danville, Ill. to Joseph and Reva (Emery) Martin.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He moved to Williston in 1971 from Lantana. He was of the Baptist faith and a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ashland, Ohio. When he was younger he worked at his family's restaurant, Martin's Drive-In in Wooster, Ohio from 1952-1953. He also owned and operated Martin's Auto in Williston in 1981 along with owning and operating Martin's Trucking Co.
In his spare time he enjoyed truck driving, being outdoors, farming, fishing with his kids and grandchildren, meeting new people, old cars and piloting airplanes, but most of all being with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 58 years, Vera "Jane" Martin; sons, Joel (June) Martin, John (Amy) Martin; daughter, Jodi (Adam) Heckmann; eight grandchildren and five great- grandchildren, with one on the way.
Visitation for Mr. Martin will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5 from noon until 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Morriston. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Keith Stewart officiating. Interment will be at Orange Hill Cemetery. Fellowship will follow at Joel and June Martin's house.
