Ann Richard Langford, 80, died Saturday, Oct.13, 2012 at Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties in Chiefland.
She was born May 5, 1932 in Alachua County to the late Carlisle Richard and Ruby Redd Richard. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Melinda (Trenton) Rimes of Lake Butler and Marilyn (Jeff) Wells of Mendenhall, Miss.; two sons, Edgar (Sharon) Langford of Newberry and Wilbur (Vicki) Rimes of Lebanon, Tenn.; two brothers, Carlisle Richard of Ft. Smith, Ark. and John (Wilda) Richard of Williston; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, William Rimes; sisters, Martha Hagan and Juanita Stewart and brothers, Robert Richard and Calvin Richard.
Graveside services were held Oct. 16 at Richard Cemetery with Pastor Chris Ruggles officiating.
